South Lanarkshire Division

The East Kilbride & District Crime Prevention Panel consists of representatives from organisations, businesses, public bodies, youth organisations, and other members of the Community. A serving Police Officer represents Strathclyde Police.
As a group we research and promote crime prevention tactics - with the aim of aiding detection and, thereby, assisting in the reduction of crime committed against the local population. The Panel meet monthly, within Management Suite, EK Shopping Centre.
Throughout the year the Panel host a number of events where information, and literature (Leaflets & Factsheets), about local crime patterns and a variety of Crime Prevention Aids (Marker Pens / Personal Attack Alarms),are made available.
With reference to the Youth against Crime initiative we are particularly pleased to announce the recent formation, and launch, of a Junior Crime Prevention Panel and look forward to working with, and learning from, them.
